Ministry Opportunities

Theta Alpha Kappa  
 
The Gardner-Webb chapter of the national honor society in Religious Studies and Theology. Membership is by invitation for majors with a GPA of at least 3.5 in their major (3.0 overall) and who are in the upper 35% of their class.
 
 
Summer Internship/Ministry Practicum
 
Each student majoring in the Department of Religious Studies and Philosophy is required to take either the summer internship or practicum course. These courses assist the student in gaining valuable ministry experience in "hands on" service in churches or other ministry organizations.
 
 
Christian Ministry Association
 
The Christian Ministry Association is the departmental club established to benefit religion majors and other interested students/faculty by providing additional opportunities for learning and service in the field of Christian Ministry. All students majoring and minoring in the department are required to attend four of the six yearly meetings.
